Overview

  • San Pedro Garza García activated the reversible lane on Avenida Vasconcelos July 28, operating Monday to Thursday from 16:00 to 20:00 and Fridays from 14:00 to 20:00.
  • A same-day trial overseen by Secretary Gabriel Todd and Mobility Director Gabriel Ponce cut a peak-hour trip from more than 20 minutes to two minutes.

  • Monterrey’s emergent reversible lane on Morones Prieto has been extended through August 31 after handling 38,473 vehicles and reducing a 9.5 km trip to 15 minutes within city limits.
  • Officials are maintaining intermunicipal coordination and technical work while advancing a six-phase elevated corridor project due for completion in late 2026.
