- San Lorenzo confirmed the death of Juan Carlos Carotti at 83 with an official tribute on social media that ended, “Hasta siempre, Tito,” and offered condolences to his family.
- Carotti played as a forward for San Lorenzo from 1961 to 1966, scoring 12 goals in 63 matches as part of the Carasucias generation that paved the way for the 1968 Matadores.
