Overview

• Police received multiple 911 calls just before 12:30 a.m. reporting gunfire and a woman screaming on the 200 block of Chynoweth Avenue in South San Jose.
• Officers found one woman outside with a gunshot wound; she died at a hospital, while a second woman inside was pronounced dead at the scene and a wounded man later died at a hospital.
• The suspect left the area prior to police arrival, and no arrests have been announced.
• The Santa Clara County Office of the Medical Examiner will release the victims’ identities after notifying next of kin.
