Overview
- Officers stopped the vehicle Thursday night and saw multiple identification cards and a meth pipe in plain view that did not belong to the occupants.
- A search yielded stacks of stolen mail along with fraudulent U.S. passports, Social Security cards and California driver’s licenses.
- Police seized equipment used to manufacture fake identification documents as well as burglary tools.
- Two men were booked into the Santa Clara County Main Jail on charges including forgery, falsifying checks and possessing forged items.
- SJPD shared photos Friday of the seized counterfeit documents, and the investigation remains active.
