San Jose Probes Officer-Involved Shooting After Armed Suspect Disturbance

Investigators closed streets under a public advisory with the aim of reviewing evidence to determine if anyone was struck

  • This incident follows a July 5 confrontation near the San Jose–Santa Clara Regional Wastewater Facility in which a U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service officer was dragged by an ATV, fired at the fleeing suspect and sustained non-life-threatening injuries
