• The woman was hit shortly after 8 a.m. Monday at Santa Clara and Cahill streets near the SAP Center, then died at a hospital.
• A preliminary investigation says the pickup was traveling east on Santa Clara when it struck her as she moved north through the Cahill crosswalk.
• Officers later located the pickup and determined it had not yet been reported stolen; the driver has not been found.
