San Francisco Woman Arrested for Pulling Horse’s Tail, Injuring Young Rider

The suspect faces felony child endangerment charges after a viral video captured the incident at a California horse stable.

Tomasa Panjojleon, 29, was arrested for allegedly pulling a horse’s tail, causing a five-year-old boy to fall and sustain injuries during a riding lesson in Daly City, California.
The incident, which occurred on February 23 at Ocean View Stables, startled the horse and led to the child being thrown off; he reportedly fractured his leg and suffered a severe hematoma.
A video of the event, shared on social media, shows the suspect pulling the horse’s tail and smirking before fleeing the scene; the clip has since gone viral.
The child’s family stated that the boy is recovering but has been advised to avoid walking for a week; they have expressed frustration over the suspect being released on bail shortly after her arrest.
Ocean View Stables staff confirmed the horse, named Zeuss, was also injured and emphasized their efforts to assist the family following the incident.
