San Francisco Prepares for Seven Major Concerts in Golden Gate Park

City agencies have implemented road closures, expanded transit service with community outreach in a plan estimated to accommodate half a million visitors alongside a $50 million economic boost.

  • Dead & Company’s three-night Grateful Dead 60th anniversary run from Aug. 1–3 at the Polo Field sold out all 165,000 tickets, drawing about 60,000 fans daily.

  • Country star Zach Bryan and Kings of Leon will cap the series with a final ticketed show on Aug. 15.
