Overview

• A man was stabbed in the neck at the inbound Ocean and Lee avenues Muni boarding island shortly after 4 p.m. Saturday and later died at a hospital.
• Officers from the Taraval and Ingleside stations rendered aid on scene until paramedics arrived to transport the victim.
• A 38-second video posted on X captures the victim holding down the suspect and a bystander applying pressure to the wound while speaking to a 911 dispatcher.
• Police arrested Sean Collins, 29, near the Ingleside Branch Library with blood on his clothing and booked him on homicide charges at San Francisco County Jail.
