San Diego Zoo's New Pandas to Make Public Debut on August 8

Yun Chuan and Xin Bao, the first pandas in the U.S. in 21 years, are acclimating to their new habitat.

The pandas arrived from China on June 28 and are settling into the newly revamped Panda Ridge.
The new enclosure is four times larger, emulating China's natural landscapes with mountains and canyons.
Visitors can see the pandas through timed tickets, a standby line, or a special early morning tour.
Yun Chuan, a nearly 5-year-old male, and Xin Bao, a 4-year-old female, symbolize international conservation efforts.
This marks a significant milestone in the San Diego Zoo's partnership with the China Wildlife Conservation Association.
