- On Oct. 1, San Diego police and Crime Stoppers asked for new tips in the unsolved killing of 22-year-old Navy sailor Ronald Harnish.
- The shooting happened on the 1100 block of 30th Street in Golden Heights, where one man opened fire, killing Harnish and wounding a second victim who survived.
- A combined $53,000 is available from Crime Stoppers, the victim’s friends and family, and the state, with smaller portions paid on arrest.
- The Governor’s Office is offering up to $50,000 that will be awarded only if information results in an arrest and a conviction.
