San Diego FC Selects Manu Duah as First Pick in 2025 MLS SuperDraft

San Diego FC made UC Santa Barbara midfielder Manu Duah the first overall pick in the 2025 MLS SuperDraft, marking the club's first-ever draft selection.
Duah, a 19-year-old Ghanaian, played 14 matches for the Gauchos, contributing to six clean sheets and showcasing his potential as a defensive midfielder.
San Diego FC also selected four additional players in the draft, including two defenders and two forwards, bolstering their inaugural roster.
The 2025 MLS season will kick off on February 23, with San Diego FC playing their first match against reigning champions LA Galaxy in Los Angeles.
San Diego FC's first home match is scheduled for March 1 at Snapdragon Stadium, where they will face St. Louis CITY SC.
