San Diego District Weighs Legal Action After Adult-Themed Livestream Shot in High School Gym

Board leaders plan an oversight agreement to curb foundation-run rentals, with a January decision expected.

Overview

  • The Canyon Crest Academy Foundation approved an Oct. 9 rental of the gym to an outside production, leading to a Dec. 6–7 Twitch stream shot on campus with school branding visible.
  • The 24-hour “24-Hour Tag” production by PayMoneyWubby, presented by Fansly, featured profanity, sexually suggestive acts, racist material and a mock crucifixion.
  • San Dieguito district officials say the filming appears to violate the license agreement and community standards and they are consulting counsel on possible legal action.
  • Foundation director Regina Twomey apologized for oversight failures, said the contract specified PG-13 content and confirmed the nonprofit is working with attorneys.
  • The streamer and his attorney insist the contract allowed the event and disclosed Fansly’s role, as the board advances an MOU to tighten control of foundation facility rentals by January.
