Samuel L. Jackson Reflects on Surprising Nine-Film Marvel Deal

The actor questioned his longevity upon signing the contract but completed it faster than expected.

Samuel L. Jackson was initially shocked by his nine-picture deal with Marvel, fearing he might not live long enough to fulfill it.
Jackson completed his Marvel contract quicker than anticipated, starring in nine films from 2008's Iron Man to 2019's Spider-Man: Far From Home.
He has also appeared in additional Marvel projects, including three TV series and three video games.
Jackson expressed disappointment at not having his character, Nick Fury, visit Wakanda, despite other Black Marvel actors sharing the same wish.
His latest work includes the Peacock project 'Fight Night: The Million Dollar Heist,' which premiered on September 5.
