Samsung’s One UI 8 Rollout Widens: Galaxy S23 Reaches U.S. and India, Galaxy S22 Gets Final Update, A34 and A25 Join

  • Stable One UI 8 (Android 16) for the Galaxy S23 series is now live in India, with beta users seeing ~300MB deltas and non‑beta users downloading roughly 3GB, along with the September 2025 security patch (build S91xBXXU8EYI5).
  • In the United States, the Galaxy S23 update is rolling out to both unlocked and carrier models with firmware S91xU1UEU6EYI5 and S91xUSQU6EYI7, respectively.
  • The Galaxy S22, S22+, and S22 Ultra have begun receiving their last major Android version update in Europe, a staged OTA of about 3.1–3.2GB (build S90xBXXUIGYI7) expected to expand to more regions.
  • The mid‑range Galaxy A34 is getting the stable One UI 8 update across numerous European markets with firmware A346BXXUBEYI7 and an install size near 2GB.
  • Samsung has also released the stable One UI 8 update for the Galaxy A25, with Europe among the first regions to receive firmware A256BXXU8DYI8, bringing changes like a revamped DeX, redesigned Quick Share, and Secure Folder improvements.
