Samsung’s November Security Patch Reaches Galaxy Z Fold 5 and Flip 5 as Rollout Widens
The security-only release starts in South Korea with a staged global expansion underway.

- Galaxy Z Fold 5 and Galaxy Z Flip 5 are now receiving the November 2025 patch in South Korea with builds F946NKSS5FYK3 and F731NKSS5FYK3.
- Earlier in the week, the update rolled out to Galaxy S23, S24, and S25 series, 2024–2025 foldables (Z Fold/Flip 7 and 6), the Galaxy Tab S11, and the Galaxy A54 in the US.
- The patch includes 25 Android fixes from Google with two rated critical, plus nine Samsung-specific patches, with additional Exynos-targeted fixes for supported models.
- Device packages vary by model and region, typically 300–450MB, with examples including Tab S11 builds X730XXS3AYJ3 and X930XXS3AYJ3 at roughly 300MB and S23 builds S91xNKSS6EYK3.
- Samsung is also pushing the update to older and midrange devices such as the Galaxy S22 in India and the Galaxy A25, as it continues One UI 8 deployments and develops One UI 8.5 expected next year.
