• Version 16.0.01.8 of Galaxy Enhance-X introduces two major tools: Focus Shift for selective refocusing and Crop & Upscale for AI-driven zoom enhancements
• Focus Shift lets users tap any point in a photo to sharpen that area while intelligently blurring backgrounds to mimic shallow depth of field
• Crop & Upscale uses built-in AI algorithms to enhance cropped images up to five times their original resolution without noticeable artifacts
• The new capabilities are currently exclusive to Android 16-based One UI 8 handsets, including Galaxy Z Fold 7, Z Flip 7, Z Flip 7 FE and the Galaxy S25 series
• Samsung plans to extend these AI-powered editing features to additional devices as it rolls out One UI 8 across its broader smartphone lineup
