Samsung Widens One UI 8 Rollout as Galaxy Watch 7 Gains Stable One UI 8 Watch

The latest wave centers on Korea and India in a region-staged push spanning midrange phones and wearables.

Overview

  • Samsung released the Wear OS 6–based One UI 8 Watch stable build to Galaxy Watch 7 users in South Korea with firmware L310XXU1BYI4, a ~160MB download for beta testers that includes the September 2025 security patch.
  • In India, beta-enrolled Galaxy A35 and A54 units received the stable One UI 8 update with builds A356EXXU5CYI8 (270.01MB) and A546EXXUFEYI4 (276.51MB), respectively.
  • Samsung began pushing One UI 8 in Korea to the Galaxy A53 5G (firmware ending GYI2) and Galaxy A33 5G (GYI3) as part of its October schedule.
  • Korean variants Galaxy Wide 7 (M15 5G) and Galaxy Quantum 3 (M53) are getting Android 16–based One UI 8 with firmware endings CYI6 and GYI4 and downloads larger than 2GB.
  • Additional devices updated today include the Galaxy XCover 7 Pro in Korea (BYI6) and India’s Galaxy M35 (M356BXXU5CY18, ~2.3GB) and Galaxy M34 (M346BXXU8EYI8, ~2.3GB).
