  • Samsung unveiled three new foldables—the Galaxy Z Fold7, Z Flip7 and more affordable Z Flip7 FE—during its Galaxy Unpacked event on July 9.
  • The Z Fold7 packs a Snapdragon 8 Elite for Galaxy, an 8-inch internal Dynamic AMOLED 2X screen and a 6.5-inch cover display in an 8.9 mm folded profile weighing 215 g.
  • The Z Flip7 features a 6.9-inch main display, a 4.1-inch FlexWindow exterior screen, Exynos 2500 and a 4,300 mAh battery, while the Z Flip7 FE offers a 6.7-inch internal panel, Exynos 2400 and a 3.4-inch cover display aimed at budget buyers.
  • All three models debut One UI 8 with Galaxy AI tools such as generative photo editing, Samsung DeX on the Flip7 and conversational AI via Google’s Gemini Live.
  • Samsung remains the top foldable smartphone vendor despite a 33% market-share decline in 2023–24 as rivals like Honor, Motorola and Xiaomi ramp up their own foldable offerings.
