Samsung says the Exynos 2500 offers 39 percent faster on-device AI performance

Overview

  • The Exynos 2500 is built on Samsung’s 3nm Gate-All-Around process and has entered mass production.
  • It deploys a 10-core CPU cluster with a 3.3 GHz Cortex-X5 prime core, seven Cortex-A725 cores and two Cortex-A520 cores for up to 15 percent faster performance than the Exynos 2400.
  • An Xclipse 950 GPU based on AMD’s RDNA3 architecture supports hardware-accelerated ray tracing for roughly 28 percent faster gaming frame rates.
  • The integrated NPU delivers 59 trillion operations per second, boosting on-device AI performance by about 39 percent.
  • The SoC supports up to 320 MP camera sensors, 8K video recording, satellite connectivity, Wi-Fi 7, LPDDR5X RAM, UFS 4.0 storage and 5G download speeds up to 12.1 Gbps.
