Overview

  • Samsung will target accounts unused for 24 months or more, permanently erasing them and all associated data beginning July 31, 2025.
  • Users with inactive accounts will receive email notifications beforehand, though alerts may fail if the linked address is also dormant.
  • Logging into any Samsung service or device before the deadline automatically marks an account as active and prevents deletion.
  • Registered family accounts, profiles with reward-point activity and those used to make purchases on Samsung’s website are exempt from the purge.
  • Customers can review and manage their account status at account.samsung.com to avoid irreversible data loss.
