Samsung to Delete Accounts Unused for Two Years Starting July 31

Reminder emails are being sent to users to ensure they log in before the July 31 deadline.

Overview

  • Samsung will permanently delete any Samsung account inactive for 24 months on July 31, 2025.
  • Affected users will lose all data and access to Galaxy Store, Samsung Health and Galaxy Wearables.
  • Signing into a Samsung device or service before the deadline will mark an account as active and prevent deletion.
  • Samsung has begun sending warnings to the email address linked to each inactive account.
  • Users who forgot their password can use Samsung’s reset process to regain access and preserve their accounts.
