Overview

  • Samsung is rolling out One UI 8 Watch based on Wear OS 6 to Galaxy Watch 7 users in South Korea with firmware L310XXU1BYI4 (build BYI4) and the September 2025 security patch.
  • The watch update is about 160MB for beta participants and roughly 2GB for non‑beta users, and the Galaxy Watch Ultra is not part of this phase.
  • New watch features include Bedtime Guidance, Running Coach, Vascular Load tracking, the Now Bar for live activities, improved notifications, additional double‑pinch gestures, and a refreshed charging view.
  • Samsung broadened One UI 8 (Android 16) phone rollouts today to models including Galaxy A35 and A54 in India for beta users, Galaxy A53 and A33 in Korea, Galaxy M15/Wide 7 and M53/Quantum 3 in Korea, Galaxy XCover 7 Pro in Korea, and Galaxy M34 and M35 in India.
