Samsung Smart Fridges to Feature AI-Driven Grocery Ordering with Instacart Integration

The 2025 Bespoke refrigerator models will debut AI Vision Inside technology, enabling automated grocery inventory management and ordering directly from the fridge screen.

Samsung has announced a multi-year partnership with Instacart to integrate grocery ordering features into its smart refrigerators.
The new functionality will debut on the 2025 Bespoke refrigerator models, featuring 32-inch and 9-inch screens, and will also roll out to existing AI Family Hub+ units via firmware updates later this year.
Using Samsung's AI Vision Inside technology, the refrigerators can monitor inventory and identify when users are low on up to 37 food items, including fruits and vegetables, though door bins and freezer items are not yet tracked.
The integration with Instacart's product-matching API allows the fridge to suggest items based on inventory, add them to a cart, and place orders directly from the fridge screen.
This feature represents a significant step in automated kitchen solutions, though it is currently limited to areas serviced by Instacart and requires manual input for some items.
