Samsung Rumored to Introduce Bone-Conduction Earphones Alongside Galaxy Z Fold 7

Reports suggest Samsung's July Unpacked event could feature the debut of its first bone-conduction or open wireless stereo earphones, codenamed 'Able.'

Samsung is expected to unveil its Galaxy Z Fold 7 and Z Flip 7 at its Unpacked event in July, with rumors pointing to the launch of new earphones as well.
The earphones, reportedly codenamed 'Able,' are said to feature either bone-conduction or open wireless stereo (OWS) technology, though details remain unclear.
Bone-conduction technology transmits sound through the skull, bypassing the eardrum, while OWS earbuds transmit sound near the ear without entering the ear canal.
Samsung aims to ship approximately 1.7 million units of the new earphones in 2025, representing 15% of its Mobile Experience division's annual earphone shipments.
If confirmed, Samsung's entry could expand the niche bone-conduction market, currently dominated by brands like Shokz, Philips, and H2O.
