Samsung Rolls Out June 2026 Android Security Patch to Galaxy S26 Series

The update bundles 45 fixes, five of them rated critical by Google, with Samsung patches that target One UI components and an Exynos DRM HDR driver vulnerability.

  • The package contains 45 total fixes, 33 supplied by Google and 12 from Samsung, and Google classifies five of its items as critical and 28 as high severity.
  • Samsung’s 12 fixes mainly cover One UI and Android 14–16 components such as Smart Suggestions, Samsung Account, Samsung Cloud, Theme Manager and Settings.
  • One Samsung-sourced fix from the Exynos division addresses a vulnerability in the DRM HDR driver that affects media and protected-content handling on Exynos-based devices.
  • The update is roughly 565MB and is rolling out in stages by region and carrier, so users should watch for the patch on their phones and install it promptly when it arrives.
