Overview

  • The new Bixby leverages generative AI to enable conversational natural-language queries, understand context and handle follow-up questions on 2025 QLED, Neo QLED, OLED and Frame TVs.
  • Integration with Click to Search lets users explore on-screen and off-screen content across live TV, cable channels and Samsung TV Plus without interrupting viewing.
  • SmartThings integration transforms compatible Samsung TVs into central smart home hubs for voice control of appliances such as ovens and air conditioners.
  • The phased global rollout is live in South Korea and the United States, with Europe set to receive the update throughout August and additional markets to follow.
  • Built on Samsung Knox for on-device privacy protection, the update precedes an upgraded Vision AI release scheduled for October 2025 as part of a seven-year Tizen OS upgrade program.
