Samsung Pushes Stable One UI 8 to Galaxy S23 in India and Galaxy A34 Across Europe

Built on Android 16, the release advances Samsung’s phased rollout with refreshed apps alongside DeX upgrades.

Overview

  • Galaxy S23, S23+, and S23 Ultra units in India are receiving firmware S91xBXXU8EYI5, a roughly 300MB delta for beta users and about 3GB for others, with the September 2025 security patch.
  • Galaxy A34 units in Europe are getting firmware A346BXXUBEYI7 at around 2GB in countries including Austria, Croatia, France, Germany, Ireland, Italy, Poland, Portugal, Serbia, Slovenia, Switzerland, the Czech Republic, and the UK.
  • Samsung is following its typical staged approach that updates beta participants first via Samsung Members before wider public over‑the‑air availability.
  • One UI 8 introduces a redesigned Quick Share, updated Samsung Internet and My Files, new Modes and Routines actions, added management tools for alarms, calendar entries and reminders, stronger Secure Folder protections, and enhanced DeX based on Android 16’s desktop mode.
  • For the Galaxy A34, this marks a third major Android upgrade since launch, with one final major OS update to Android 17 expected next year.
