Overview

  • Both Galaxy Watch 8 and Watch 8 Classic adopt a new cushion “squircle” design that makes them about 11 percent thinner than the Watch 7.
  • All models run on Samsung’s Exynos W1000 chip and ship with Wear OS 6, providing on-device Gemini AI for voice commands and task automation.
  • Advanced health metrics include Bedtime Guidance, Vascular Load monitoring, an Antioxidant Index measurement and a personalized Running Coach powered by Samsung’s BioActive Sensor.
  • The Galaxy Watch 8 comes in 40 mm and 44 mm aluminium builds with Super AMOLED displays up to 3,000 nits, while the 46 mm Watch 8 Classic adds a stainless-steel case and returning physical rotating bezel.
  • Pricing starts at $349.99 for the Bluetooth Galaxy Watch 8 and rises to $549.99 for the LTE Galaxy Watch 8 Classic.
