- The series adopts a squircle "cushion" design from the Galaxy Watch Ultra with an 11% slimmer case and the Classic (46 mm) model reviving the physical rotating bezel.
- Both Galaxy Watch8 models run One UI 8 Watch on Wear OS 6 and are the first Samsung watches to ship with Google’s Gemini AI assistant for voice-driven controls.
- Powered by the Exynos W1000 chip, the watches feature Super AMOLED screens with peak brightness of 3,000 nits and improved battery efficiency.
- Health tracking is enhanced by the BioActive Sensor for heart rate, ECG and body composition and new metrics such as Bedtime Guidance, Vascular Load, Running Coach and Antioxidant Index.
- Pricing begins at $350 for the Bluetooth Galaxy Watch8 and $500 for the Classic Bluetooth model with LTE variants $50 higher and general availability on July 25.
