• Galaxy Z Fold 5 and Z Flip 5 join Samsung’s Certified Re-Newed program as the first foldables to receive factory refurbishment with genuine parts and certified new batteries.
• The phones are sold exclusively through Samsung’s U.S. online store in Phantom Black for the Fold 5 and Graphite for the Flip 5 at $1,169/$1,219 and $649/$699 respectively.
• Samsung accepts trade-ins of devices from Apple, Google, Motorola and other brands to reduce prices by up to $866 on the Fold 5 and up to $527 on the Flip 5.
• Each unit is backed by a one-year manufacturer warranty and qualifies for Samsung Care+ protection for extended coverage.
• Newer models like the Galaxy Z Fold 6 and Flip 6 remain excluded from the program in a move seen as steering buyers toward refurbished savings or upgrades to the latest series.
