Samsung May Redesign S Pen for Ultra-Thin Galaxy Z Fold 7

Rumors suggest Samsung is exploring Apple Pencil-like technology to reduce thickness while maintaining stylus functionality.

Samsung is reportedly considering removing the display's digitizer in the Galaxy Z Fold 7 to achieve a thinner design, similar to the Galaxy Z Fold SE.
The new S Pen could adopt Active Electrostatic (AES) technology, requiring a built-in battery and charging, unlike the current electromagnetic resonance (EMR) system.
This redesign would make the S Pen larger and thicker but enable compatibility with thinner foldable displays.
The Galaxy Z Fold 7 is expected to retain the larger screen sizes introduced in the Z Fold SE, with an 8-inch main display and a 6.5-inch cover screen.
Samsung is also rumored to use titanium for the phone's backplate to enhance durability while keeping the device lightweight.
