Samsung Launches Third Walk-a-thon India Challenge With Galaxy Watch 8 Rewards

Galaxy users in India can register through the Samsung Health app to walk 200,000 steps this August for a chance to win a Galaxy Watch 8, with all finishers receiving discount coupons.

Overview

  • The event runs from August 1 to August 30 and is open exclusively to Samsung Galaxy device owners via the Samsung Health app’s Together section.
  • Participants who opt in and record at least 200,000 steps over 30 days qualify for a draw to win one of three Galaxy Watch 8 units.
  • All finishers earn discount coupons of up to ₹15,000 that can be redeemed on the Galaxy Watch 8 through Samsung’s online store and Shop app.
  • To claim rewards, participants must post a screenshot of their completed step count on the Samsung Members app with the #WalkathonIndia hashtag between September 5 and September 30.
  • This marks Samsung’s third nationwide fitness drive in 2025 after January’s first challenge attracted over 100,000 participants and April’s edition awarded Galaxy Watch Ultra prizes.
