Samsung Launches $149 Galaxy Buds 3 FE With ANC, Galaxy AI and New Stem Design, U.S. Sales Start Sept. 4

The Fan Edition drops dual drivers, LED accents, and higher ingress protection to hit the price point.

  • Samsung confirms 11 mm dynamic drivers, Enhanced ANC rated up to about 32 dB, Bluetooth 5.4, IP54 resistance, and support for Samsung Seamless Codec alongside AAC and SBC.
  • Battery is rated at up to 6 hours with ANC on or 8.5 hours with it off, with 24–30 hours total via the 515 mAh case and 53 mAh per earbud over USB-C charging.
  • Hands-free Gemini access and Galaxy AI Interpreter real-time translation work when paired with compatible Galaxy phones, with Samsung stating AI features are free on supported devices through the end of 2025.
  • Pinch and swipe controls on the blade-style stems, Auto Switch across Galaxy devices, Find My Earbuds, and improved call pickup via repositioned mics and Crystal Clear Call machine-learning processing are included.
  • Pricing is $149.99 in the U.S. (€149 in Europe) with Black and Gray options, a Samsung.com $30 trade-in credit for any wired or wireless earbuds, and availability rolling out early September.
