  • Samsung has opened One UI 8 beta registration for Galaxy S25, S25+ and S25 Ultra owners in Germany, South Korea, the United States and the United Kingdom through the Samsung Members app.
  • One UI 8 runs on Android 16 and introduces a new software update cadence accelerated by Samsung’s collaboration with Google.
  • Built-in multimodal AI acts as a context-aware agent to deliver personalized, proactive suggestions across Samsung’s various device form factors.
  • The update adds Auracast broadcast audio over Bluetooth LE, an overhauled Reminder app with voice management, a redesigned Quick Share menu and QR/NFC support for streamlined repair-center check-in.
  • Final One UI 8 will be pre-installed on the upcoming Galaxy Z Fold7 and Z Flip7, slated to debut in July 2025.
