Samsung Galaxy S24 Series Expected to Launch in Early 2024

The new lineup will feature Qualcomm's Snapdragon 8 Gen 3, Samsung's Exynos chip, and a new AI feature, Samsung Gauss.

Samsung is expected to release the Galaxy S24 series in late January or early February 2024. The series will include the standard Galaxy S24, the larger Galaxy S24 Plus, and the premium flagship Galaxy S24 Ultra.
The Galaxy S24 series will feature Qualcomm's latest Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 in the U.S., while some markets may see a return to Samsung's Exynos chip. The Galaxy S24 Ultra is expected to feature the Snapdragon chip in all markets.
Samsung plans to add a new generative AI feature, Samsung Gauss, to the Galaxy S24 lineup. This could deliver features such as real-time translation, AI-generated wallpapers, a photo editing tool similar to Google's Magic Editor, and AI-powered formatting features in Samsung Notes.
The Galaxy S24 series will come with Android 14 preinstalled with Samsung's next-gen One UI 6 (or 6.1) on top. The new S24 models will someday be upgradeable to Android 18.
The Galaxy S24 Ultra will feature a 200-megapixel main camera, a 12MP ultrawide, and a pair of telephoto lenses that go up to a 10x optical zoom. It's rumored that the 3x telephoto camera will be replaced with a 50MP 5x shooter.
