Overview

  • The Galaxy Z Fold 7 and Z Flip 7 ship with Android 16 and natively integrate Gemini Live as the default assistant, enabling screen sharing via long-press and hands-free AI on the Flip’s exterior display.
  • Gemini Live serves as the default assistant across Google apps like Calendar, Maps and Keep and connects with Samsung’s Calendar, Notes and Reminders for expanded AI-driven workflows.
  • Circle to Search now embeds AI Mode and supports gaming queries, allowing users to circle in-game elements for walkthroughs and follow-up AI insights without leaving the gameplay.
  • Gemini is rolling out to Wear OS 4+ smartwatches from Pixel, Samsung, OPPO, OnePlus and Xiaomi, replacing Google Assistant with multimodal AI capabilities on the wrist.
  • Buyers of the new foldables receive six months of Google AI Pro access—including Veo 3 and Gemini 2.5 Pro—while Pixel 9 Pro owners get a full year free.
