Samsung Extends One UI to Wi‑Fi Home Appliances With Seven Years of Updates

  • Updates begin in September 2025 for Wi‑Fi models launched in 2024 or later, and future appliances will ship with Tizen‑based One UI preinstalled.
  • The interface adds an LLM‑powered Bixby with Voice ID that can be summoned by double‑tapping the display for personalized responses.
  • Security features include Knox Matrix, real‑time Trust Chain monitoring and a Knox Dashboard for eligible 2024+ air conditioners, washers, dryers, EHS devices and ranges.
  • Display‑equipped models launched in 2026 will get Now Brief for personalized info, and AI Vision Inside refrigerators will recognize up to 37 food types after an update.
  • Service expansions include Samsung TV Plus on Family Hub fridges in Brazil, Canada and India, encrypted Credential Sync and Passkeys on select fridge screens, and added Indian languages on 7‑inch washer touchscreens.
