• On August 11 Samsung opened the One UI 8 Beta for Galaxy S24, S24+ and S24 Ultra models along with the Galaxy Z Fold 6 and Z Flip 6.
• The update, built on Android 16, is distributed through the Samsung Members app so participants can report issues and suggest improvements.
• Samsung has confirmed that the stable One UI 8 release will begin on all four Galaxy S25 models in September before expanding to older handsets.
• One UI 8 Watch is slated to roll out beyond the Galaxy Watch 8 lineup later this year, extending Android 16 features to more wearable devices.
