Overview

• Starting August 11, Galaxy S24 series, Z Fold 6 and Z Flip 6 users can join the One UI 8 beta through the Samsung Members app in four key markets.
• In September, the beta will open to Galaxy S23 series, Z Fold 5, Z Flip 5, Tab S10 series and select Galaxy A-series phones such as the A36 5G and A35 5G.
• One UI 8 Watch firmware is set to reach every Wear OS Galaxy Watch model—down to the Galaxy Watch 4 series—by year-end, while Tizen-based watches will not receive the update.
• Built on Android 16, One UI 8 introduces system-wide multimodal AI controls, refreshed interface designs and enhanced productivity and security features.
• Samsung’s phased beta program aims to address past delays with clear eligibility schedules and streamlined enrollment before rolling out stable updates.
