Samsung Expands Micro RGB TVs to 55–115 Inches for 2026 Ahead of CES

CES 2026 demos next month will provide the first independent look at performance, with pricing still unannounced.

Overview

  • Samsung confirmed a broader 2026 Micro RGB lineup in 55, 65, 75, 85, 100 and 115 inches, to be showcased at the company’s Wynn Las Vegas showroom Jan. 6–9.
  • New sets feature a Micro RGB AI Engine Pro with 4K AI upscaling and AI Motion Enhancer, plus a Vision AI Companion that adds LLM-powered conversational search, Bixby voice control, live translation and support for external models such as Perplexity.
  • Samsung cites 100% BT.2020 color coverage and touts cleaner tones and better detail in challenging lighting, with Eclipsa Audio delivering spatial sound alongside Dolby Atmos and Q‑Symphony support.
  • Micro RGB remains an LCD approach using tiny red, green and blue LEDs for backlight and color, distinct from self‑emissive Micro LED and OLED technologies.
  • Retail pricing for the new sizes has not been disclosed after this year’s 115‑inch model launched around $30,000, and rivals including LG have previewed competing RGB LED sets that will also be demonstrated at CES.
