- Samsung launched the Galaxy Z Fold 7, Z Flip 7 and budget-friendly Z Flip 7 FE at its July 9 Galaxy Unpacked event, with shipments set to begin on July 25.
- The Galaxy Z Fold 7 measures just 8.9 mm when folded and weighs 215 g, offering a 6.5-inch cover display that expands to an 8-inch inner screen.
- The Galaxy Z Flip 7 features a 4.1-inch Super AMOLED FlexWindow cover display, a 6.9-inch main display and a dual-lens 50 MP + 12 MP camera system powered by the Exynos 2500 chip.
- All three foldables run One UI 8 on Android 16 and integrate Galaxy AI and multimodal AI features for enhanced on-device intelligence and multitasking.
- Tecno’s Phantom Ultimate G Fold remains a concept inward-folding tri-fold set for a mid-July unveiling, with no immediate commercial release and Samsung’s own Galaxy G Fold expected later this year.
