  • Samsung will officially unveil Project Moohan at an Unpacked event in Seoul on September 29, 2025, with sales beginning in South Korea on October 13 and a global rollout to follow.
  • Project Moohan is built on Google’s Android XR operating system and powered by Qualcomm’s Snapdragon XR2+ Gen2 chip for high-performance mixed reality.
  • Deep integration with Google’s Gemini AI will enable eye tracking, gesture recognition, voice interactions, and adjustable passthrough between augmented and virtual reality.
  • Samsung plans a July 2025 keynote to showcase prototype Moohan headsets alongside the Galaxy Z Fold7 and Z Flip7 before the September unveiling.
  • In partnership with Google and Gentle Monster, Samsung is also developing AI/AR smart glasses slated for release by the end of 2025.
