Overview

  • Samsung Foundry has officially confirmed the Exynos 2600 as its first mobile chipset built on the 2nm Gate-All-Around process for use in select Galaxy S26 models
  • The chip integrates a Heat Pass Block, a copper cooling layer positioned within the package to improve thermal management over traditional heat spreaders
  • Prototype production yields have climbed from industry estimates of about 30% toward Samsung’s goal of 70% by the end of 2025
  • Exynos 2600 features a 10-core CPU in a 1+3+6 arrangement, an Xclipse 960 GPU with roughly 15% higher graphics performance than its predecessor and a significantly enhanced NPU for on-device AI
  • A $16.5 billion manufacturing agreement with Tesla highlights strong external demand as Samsung scales up its 2nm production capacity
