- Galaxy Watch 4 and Watch 4 Classic began receiving the Wear OS 6–based update in South Korea with firmware R870XXU1JYK4/R880XXU1JYK4 at roughly 1GB, in what is widely reported as their final major OS upgrade.
- Samsung’s deployment now covers every model released in 2021 or later, capping a months‑long sequence that started with Watch Ultra in July and progressed through Watch 7, Watch 6/6 Classic, Watch 5/5 Pro, and Watch FE.
- LTE variants of the Galaxy Watch 5/5 Pro and Watch 6/6 Classic have started getting the update in India, with downloads exceeding 1.6GB depending on the model.
- Galaxy Watch 5 units are receiving One UI 8 Watch in more regions including Europe for both Wi‑Fi and LTE models, carrying build DYK4 with the October 2025 security patch and an install of about 1.8GB.
- One UI 8 Watch adds a redesigned interface, custom Tiles, the Now Bar, new faces and complications, expanded double‑pinch gestures, and improved notifications and health features; updates can be checked in the Galaxy Wearable app under Watch software update.
