Samsung Announces Record-Breaking 360 Hz QD-OLED Monitors
The new 31.5-inch 4K and 27-inch 1440p monitors, set to debut at CES 2024, leverage advanced technologies including an AI-driven algorithm.
- Samsung has announced the mass production of two new gaming monitors, a 31.5-inch 4K QD-OLED monitor and a 27-inch 1440p variant with a record-breaking 360 Hz refresh rate, both set to be introduced at CES 2024.
- The 31.5-inch monitor uses ultra-precise inject printing technology to increase the display pixel density to 140 PPI, equivalent to a 65-inch 8K TV.
- The 27-inch monitor achieves its high refresh rate and 0.03ms response time using Samsung's proprietary AI algorithm 'Quantum Enhancer'.
- QD-OLED monitor shipments are estimated to reach 600,000 units by the end of 2023, four times the amount in 2022.
- Other display makers, including TCL, MSI, AORUS, and Nubia's gaming division, RedMagic, are also set to showcase their QD-OLED monitors at CES 2024.
