Mahonri Schwalger stepped down as Samoa's rugby coach after being charged with several sexual offences, including misconduct with a person under 16.
The 46-year-old former test hooker had been suspended from his role since September 2024 following the charges filed by Samoan police.
Schwalger, who pleaded not guilty in November, is set to appear in court again on April 28, 2025.
During his tenure, Schwalger led Samoa to a notable victory over Italy, marking the team's first win against a tier-one nation in a decade.
