Samay Raina and Ranveer Allahbadia Face Legal Scrutiny Over Controversial Show Content

India's Got Latent episodes removed as legal and public backlash mounts over inappropriate remarks by guest Ranveer Allahbadia.

The Maharashtra Cyber Department has issued a second summons to comedian Samay Raina after he missed a prior statement recording session regarding the controversy surrounding his YouTube show, India's Got Latent.
The controversy began after guest Ranveer Allahbadia made an inappropriate comment during an episode, leading to multiple FIRs against Allahbadia, Raina, and others for promoting obscenity.
Samay Raina has removed all episodes of India's Got Latent from his YouTube channel and expressed regret, stating his intention was only to entertain.
The Supreme Court condemned Allahbadia's remarks as 'dirty and perverted,' granted him interim protection from arrest, and imposed strict conditions, including the surrender of his passport.
Comedian Harsh Gujral has also taken down episodes of his show, The Escape Room, which featured similar dark humor, but has not commented publicly on the decision.
