Sam Raimi to Direct New Horror-Thriller 'Send Help' After 15 Years

The 'Evil Dead' creator returns with a film blending elements of 'Misery' and 'Cast Away' for 20th Century Studios.

'Send Help' marks Raimi's first horror film since 2009's 'Drag Me to Hell'.
The film is described as a two-hander horror thriller set on an island.
Screenwriters Damian Shannon and Mark Swift, known for 'Freddy vs. Jason', penned the script.
Raimi will produce the film under his Raimi Productions banner.
