Sam Mendes Confirms Cast for Ambitious Beatles Biopic Series

The four-film project, endorsed by the surviving Beatles and their families, will feature Paul Mescal, Harris Dickinson, Barry Keoghan, and Joseph Quinn as the Fab Four, with filming set to begin shortly.

Director Sam Mendes officially announced the casting of Paul Mescal, Harris Dickinson, Barry Keoghan, and Joseph Quinn as Paul McCartney, John Lennon, Ringo Starr, and George Harrison, respectively, during CinemaCon in Las Vegas.
The innovative biopic series will consist of four interconnected films, each focusing on the life and perspective of one Beatles member.
Filming for the project is set to begin soon and will span over a year, with all four films scheduled for release in April 2028.
The project has received the full support of surviving Beatles Paul McCartney and Ringo Starr, as well as the families of John Lennon and George Harrison.
Mendes emphasized that the scale and complexity of the Beatles' story required a multi-film approach to fully explore their individual and collective legacy.
